Zachary A. Phillips is an associate in Preti’s Litigation group, practicing out of the firm’s Concord office. He brings a strong background in legal research and writing, complex litigation, and public service to his work on behalf of Preti’s clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Zack served as a law clerk in the Belknap and Hillsborough County Superior Courts, where he conducted legal research and analysis and assisted in drafting judicial orders addressing complex civil and criminal matters. He previously served as a judicial intern to Associate Justice Patrick Donovan of the New Hampshire Supreme Court and completed a legal residency with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Criminal Justice Bureau, where he drafted appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda involving issues ranging from constitutional law to evidence and criminal procedure.

Before becoming an attorney, Zack served more than a decade in the U.S. Air Force and continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve. He also co-founded Veterans Legal Justice, a nonprofit organization connecting veterans with pro bono and reduced-fee legal services. He currently serves as the group’s Executive Director.

 A magna cum laude graduate of UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, Zack also holds a Masters in Public Policy, an M.B.A., and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering.
