Preti Flaherty Welcomes Three Lateral Attorneys to the Firm
New England-based law firm Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce the addition of three lateral attorneys to the firm’s Corporate and M&A, Litigation, and Energy & Telecommunications Practice Groups:
Chris McBrady began his career practicing in the New York and Paris offices of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, before returning to his native Maine to continue his corporate and business law practice first at a York County-based law firm and then at his own firm. At Preti Flaherty, Chris counsels clients on a wide range of corporate law issues, with a particular focus on mergers & acquisitions, public and private securities matters, and the structuring and execution of private investments.
Kelsey Kenny joins Preti Flaherty’s Litigation Practice Group from another Maine-based firm. Based in the firm’s Portland, Maine office, her practice primarily focuses on medical malpractice and professional liability matters. A graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, she served as Managing Editor of the Maine Law Review and was co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Student Journal of Information Privacy Law. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (“CIPP/US”) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (“CIPM”).
Michael Amato comes to Preti Flaherty’s Litigation and Energy Practice Groups from WilmerHale LLP, where he began his career after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center. Following law school, Michael served as a clerk for the Honorable Carolyn N. Lerner on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Based in the firm’s Concord, New Hampshire office, Michael focuses his practice on litigation and energy-related matters.
“We are thrilled to welcome these three exceptional attorneys to our team,” said Managing Partner Michael Smith. “The arrival of these new colleagues reflects the firm’s commitment to delivering outstanding results to our clients and bolsters our stellar roster of litigators and business lawyers.”
