Biography
Michael is an associate in Preti Flaherty’s Litigation and Energy Practice Groups. Based out of the firm’s Concord office, Michael provides corporate clients and individuals with strategic counsel in a broad range of litigation-related areas, including complex civil disputes, government enforcement actions, environmental, false claims, antitrust, and contracts. He regularly prepares pleadings and motions, conducts legal research, and supports all aspects of trial preparation. Michael also advises energy industry clients on federal policy and regulatory compliance.
Michael graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Executive Notes Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and litigated federal appeals in the Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic. While at Georgetown, he served as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and Civil Division at the U.S. Department of Justice.
Before joining Preti Flaherty, Michael was a senior associate in the Washington office of WilmerHale LLP, an international law firm, and clerked for the Hon. Carolyn N. Lerner on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
