Preti Flaherty Attorney Steven A. Hudson Named Partner

January 9, 2014 — Portland, ME — Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that the firm's partnership has named attorney Steven A. Hudson as Partner. Hudson previously practiced as Of Counsel and works from the firm's Augusta, Maine office.

Hudson practices with the firm's Energy and Telecommunications Group, Climate Strategy Group and Government Affairs Group where he represents manufacturers, energy developers, telephone companies and electric utilities on a broad range of matters affecting their interests.  Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Steve served as General Manager of Technical, Regulatory & Public Affairs for MeadWestvaco Corp., Assistant Director of National Affairs for Boise Cascade Corp. and as in-house counsel to Boise Cascade. He is admitted to practice in Maine and earned his law degree from University of Washington School of Law in 1986, and his undergraduate degree from University of California in 1980. Steve lives in Wayne with his wife and children.
