Historic Harraseeket Inn Another Landmark Acquisition for Preti Client Giri Hotels
Tourist hotspot Harraseeket Inn in Freeport has been purchased by Massachusetts-based Giri Hotels, adding to their substantial New England footprint. Giri currently manages 26 other hotels in Maine, with an ample portfolio of other properties across New England and New York.

Jason Howe, Chair of Preti’s Real Estate and Finance Group, represented Giri in the transaction. “Giri is always great to work with, but more exciting is that their acquisition will ensure the Harraseeket remains a regional institution for years to come,” he said.
The Harraseeket Inn is a historic hotel in the heart of downtown Freeport. It has 94 rooms, an indoor pool, and a restaurant. It has won awards for its food and atmosphere, includingTripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice, Down East Magazine Best of Maine, Down East Magazine Readers’ Choice, Yankee Magazine Best of New England, and Travel + Leisure World’s Best.
