Van Slyke and Thaler Named to 2021 Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Environmental and Energy Lawyers

Lawdragon’s editorial team selected the 500 honorees through submissions, journalistic research, and editorial vetting by a board of peers.

David Van Slyke is the managing partner of Preti Flaherty and a former chair of the firm’s Environmental Practice Group. Prior to joining Preti Flaherty in 1991, David had a distinguished career at the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Jeffrey Thaler, a long-time energy and environmental lawyer and a key member of the New England Aqua Ventus floating off-shore wind project team, is currently a Professor of Practice at Maine Law School and Associate Counsel for the University of Maine System.

Van Slyke and Thaler, both of Yarmouth, are the only two Maine-based lawyers named to the Lawdragon list.
