David Van Slyke Named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers – The Green 500

David has played a key role in building and leading Preti Flaherty’s Environmental Practice for more than two decades. He previously served as Managing Partner of the firm and now chairs the firm’s environmental practice, where he advises clients on complex permitting, regulatory compliance, land use, and environmental litigation matters throughout New England and beyond. Before joining Preti Flaherty, David held senior enforcement and policy positions at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, experience that continues to provide clients with a valuable insider perspective on federal environmental law.
