Attorney Jeffrey Thaler Named to 2024 Lawdragon Green 500: Leaders in Energy Law
Preti Flaherty’s attorney Jeffrey Thaler has been recognized by Lawdragon as one of the top 500 Leaders in Energy Law. This is Jeff’s third time named to this prestigious list since the first publication in 2021. Jeff is also the only Maine-based lawyer recognized on the list for his contributions to energy litigation.
The 500 honorees were chosen through a time-honored vetting research process for lawyers who shine bright in oil and gas; electricity; mining; and nuclear power; as well as water, wind, solar, and even new forms of energy. In their announcement, Lawdragon stated that the lawyers selected are “experts in everything from nuclear energy to pipeline regulation, renewables to mining.”
Jeff Thaler is an attorney with Preti Flaherty’s Energy & Telecommunications and Environmental Practice Groups. Jeff is a nationally recognized energy and environmental lawyer. Before joining Preti Flaherty, he worked as a professor at the University Maine School of Law and advised the University on energy legal issues. Jeff is also one of the co-founders of the American College of Environmental Lawyers.
