Matthew Warner Elected to Board of Directors for World Affairs Council of Maine
Matthew Warner has been elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the World Affairs Council of Maine.
The World Affairs Council of Maine’s origins date to 1962, when a group of Mainers hosted United Nations diplomats and correspondents. The Council was officially founded in 1977, to promote understanding of world events and issues, diverse cultures, foreign policy, and international trade. With support from its members, the Council’s programming engages individuals as well as the business and education communities and other organizations involved in Maine's expanding global presence.
