Biography

Kijana is a member of the firm’s Environmental and Energy & Telecommunications Practice Groups, practicing out of the firm’s Portland office. Drawing on a foundation in environmental litigation, her practice spans complex environmental law, M&A and real estate transaction due diligence, and infrastructure and project development matters. She counsels clients in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Maine Public Utilities Commission, Maine Department of Environmental Protection, as well as other federal, state, and local agencies. She conducts research and analysis of statutory, regulatory, and case law issues; and regularly drafts and files documents and motions related to enforcement actions, compliance requirements, and permitting.

Outside of work, Kijana is an avid quilter and commuter cyclist. She lives in Portland, Maine.
