Biography

Kelsey is an Associate with Preti Flaherty’s Litigation Group, practicing out of the firm’s Portland headquarters. She brings diverse litigation experience spanning medical malpractice and professional liability defense, insurance coverage, and general litigation. At Preti, she provides comprehensive and strategic counsel to clients. This includes drafting litigation documents, advising on legal analysis, collecting evidence and expert witness testimony, assisting in argument and preparation for board hearings or trial.

Kelsey graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where she earned a certificate with distinction in Information Privacy Law. She also served as Managing Editor of the Maine Law Review and was co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Student Journal of Information Privacy Law. Prior to joining Preti, Kelsey was a litigation associate at a Maine-based law firm and a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the District of Maine.

She grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and has loved living in Maine since 2018. When she’s not practicing law, she enjoys practicing yoga, and is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast.
