Biography
Josh is Of Counsel in the firm’s Trust and Estates Practice Group. He advises clients about probate avoidance strategies, prepares businesses for successful transitions, and develops sophisticated strategies attentive to his clients’ needs. He regularly advises high net worth individuals, families, family offices, and trust companies on estate planning and related fiduciary matters, with a particular focus on estate tax mitigation and state-level income tax strategies.
Josh works closely with successful entrepreneurs and multigenerational families nationwide, collaborating alongside their advisory teams to deliver integrated planning solutions. He is a recognized authority on New Hampshire's favorable trust laws, regularly assisting clients in modifying irrevocable trusts to achieve improved tax, distribution, and administrative outcomes. Josh is also experienced establishing private trust companies which can be used as vehicles for long-term family governance and fiduciary control.
Joshua earned his B.A. from Union College and his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he served as a senior editor of the school’s intellectual property law review and as a student clerk at the New Hampshire Complex Trust Docket.
