Brazil’s Piece of the Global Private Antitrust Enforcement Puzzle

October 30, 2015, 12:00-1:00 p.m. Eastern

This program will be moderated by Gregory P. Hansel and will discuss the current state of private antitrust enforcement in Brazil and whether or not it plays a meaningful role in the global arena. The Attorney General of Brazil’s regulatory agency (CADE) will join private plaintiff and defense counsel to summarize various aspects of antitrust litigation and explain the impact prior agency decisions have on these efforts. As private antitrust enforcement mechanisms and policy changes take hold in jurisdictions around the world, we look to Brazil to see where it falls in the global spectrum.
