Three Countries Say Hello to Class Actions

Preti Flaherty attorney Greg Hansel will moderate a panel for the American Bar Association featuring three experts on recent class action developments in South Africa, Brazil, and Italy. Topics discussed will include South Africa’s Class Competition Amendment Act; proposed amendments to Brazil’s competition laws to foster private litigation, including class actions, in Brazil while protecting the Brazilian Leniency Programme; and Italy’s new law expanding class actions. 

The panel is part of the ABA's Antitrust Law Section and is presented by the association's Global Private Litigation and International Committees.
