Biography
Ethan is a member of Preti Flaherty’s Environmental Practice Group in the firm’s Portland office. He provides clients with counsel on a variety of complex issues related to environmental law, including researching federal enforcement actions, case law, and relevant legislation; discovery requests, analysis, and responses; drafting documents and filing motions with courts; and negotiating settlement agreements.
Ethan is a graduate of Vermont Law School and Colby College. While at Colby, Ethan spent a semester directing research on natural resource management and sustainable development at The School of Field Studies Center for Sustainable Development in Costa Rica and was an intern at NASA in New York. While in law school, Ethan held a clerkship at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources in the Enforcement and Litigation Division and was a student clinician at the Vermont Law School Environmental Advocacy Clinic. Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Ethan was a clerk at the Yellowstone County District Court in Billings, Montana.
Ethan lives in Windham, Maine.
