Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that Kara N. Sweeney has been appointed to the Northern New England Housing Investment Fund (NNEHIF) Board of Directors.  NNEHIF is a private, non-profit corporation that promotes housing and community development by providing equity capital, technical assistance and consulting to affordable housing developers throughout New Hampshire and Maine.

Kara practices with the Business Law Group, advising clients on general business, securities and affordable housing matters from the firm's Concord, NH office.  In the affordable housing arena, Kara works with multi-family and elderly housing project developers, state and federal financing agencies, commercial lenders and local housing authorities on the acquisition, development and financing of affordable housing projects.
