Preti Flaherty Attorneys Jason Howe and Emily White Help Advance Massive $59 Million Development Complex In Seacoast

The Kittery Planning Board has given final approval to a $59 million mixed-use residential development off Interstate 95, a project that has been in the works for several years. Preti Flaherty attorneys Jason Howe and Emily White represent the developer, Aztec, LLC, providing land use, real estate, and TIF-related tax guidance in helping to secure the necessary approvals for the project.

“This has been a long process and we appreciate the collaborative effort of all parties involved,” said Attorney Howe. “We’re particularly happy to see the client’s vision – first contemplated several years ago – take another step toward fruition.”

Plans for the 23-acre development include three residential buildings with 300+ studios, 1- and 2-bedroom units, five covered parking buildings, and one amenity building for residents. One of the residential buildings will also include 3,000 sq. ft. of commercial use on the ground floor. It’s one of the largest residential developments in the Seacoast region to date, and is expected to contribute nearly $1 million annually to Kittery’s tax base.
