Wes Chused will speak at the panel presentation, "Broker Duties & Liability - Mind the Gap". This presentation will focus on some of the areas where brokers must be mindful of the potential gaps between the broker’s obligations to its customers and the public and what the broker is able to fulfill. The discussion will include gaps in cargo liability exposure, insurance v. liability, carrier-vetting obligations, voluntary creation of duties, problematic indemnification provisions and food safety commitments and obligations.
