Tim Bryant Appointed President of Maine Children's Cancer Program Board of Directors

Preti Flaherty attorney Tim Bryant has recently been appointed President of the Board of Directors of Maine Children's Cancer Program, a division of Maine Medical Center that provides comprehensive treatment for children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders.

After being elected, Mr. Bryant was quoted as saying: "The nationally recognized physicians, staff and volunteers at the Maine Children's Cancer Program are second to none in the support and treatment they provide to Maine families.  I am honored to be associated with them and to serve as President for an organization that plays such an important role in our community."

The Maine Children's Cancer Program was created to meet the needs of children with cancer and their families. Based in Scarborough, the program's treatment center is a special place where children with cancer, and their families from across Maine and New Hampshire, find the highest quality medical care, along with support, love and hope.

Bryant has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2005.  He has served as a volunteer and co-chair of the Maine Children's Cancer Program Walk-a-Thon since 1994.  He is Partner at Preti Flaherty and is recognized nationally for his work in Franchise Law. He focuses his practice on franchise, business and construction law and litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising and Litigation Practice Specialty Sections.
