The Maine Workers' Compensation Summit is an annual, system-wide event for the workers' compensation community. Nelson Larkins will co-present "A Practical Guide to Navigating the Maine Workers' Compensation Medical Process" with Kenji Saito, MD, of Workplace Health. The interactive conversation will share medical and legal perspectives on topics including: ten day medical providers; integrated medical services and the role of specialists; the medical profession's role in defining incapacity and permanent impairment; how doctors and lawyers communicate; and the latest best practices regarding medication use, opioids, and medical marijuana.
