Preti Flaherty Welcomes Attorneys Samuel Burgess and Ethan Johnson to the Firm
Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce the arrival of attorneys Samuel L. Burgess and Ethan F. Johnson.
Sam Burgess joins the firm as an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group, practicing from the Concord, New Hampshire, office. He is a graduate of Cornell Law School and the Virginia Military Institute. While in law school, Sam was general editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and held internships at the Office of the Attorney General in Alaska; the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard Office of the Judge Advocate General in Washington, DC; and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He joins the firm following the completion of a clerkship at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Ethan Johnson joins the firm as an Associate in the Environmental Practice Group, practicing from the Portland, Maine, office. He is a graduate of Vermont Law School and Colby College. While in law school, Ethan was a student clinician at the Vermont Law School Environmental Advocacy Clinic and held a clerkship at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources in the Enforcement and Litigation Division. As an undergrad, Ethan attended The School for Field Studies, where he directed research at the Center for Sustainable Development in Costa Rica. He joins the firm following the completion of a clerkship at the Yellowstone County District Court in Billings, Montana.
