Preti Flaherty Welcomes Attorneys Bridget M. Denzer and Ian B. Huyett to the Firm

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce the arrival of two new Associates: Bridget M. Denzer and Ian B. Huyett.

Bridget joins the Environmental Law Practice Group and will work from the firm’s Portland office.

Bridget graduated summa cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2015, and then worked as a clerk at the New Hampshire Superior Court for two years during which she worked for five judges. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bard College in New York, a Master’s of Science from Tufts University and a Master’s in Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law School.  While in law school, Bridget served on the Vermont Law Review, was a semi-finalist in the Debevoise Moot Court Competition and served as a student clinician at the Appellate Division of the Vermont Defender General.  In 2018, she was recognized by her peers as a New England Super Lawyers Rising Star in Civil Litigation: Defense. She lives in Sanford, Maine. 

Ian joins the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group in Concord, New Hampshire, having just completed a trial court clerkship in the Augusta County (Virginia) Circuit Court. 

Ian is a 2018 graduate of Washington & Lee University School of Law, and a 2013 graduate of Kansas State University. While at W&L, Ian received several local and national awards and honors for his advocacy skills. He is a prolific, published writer on legal jurisprudence.  In the Summer of 2017, he completed an internship in the Hillsborough County (New Hampshire) Attorney’s office. He lives in Manchester, New Hampshire.
