Preti Flaherty Welcomes Attorney Meryl E. Poulin to the Firm

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that attorney Meryl E. Poulin has joined the firm. Meryl will practice Litigation from the firm’s Portland office.

Born in Portland, Meryl graduated from St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts, Colby College and the University of Maine School of Law cum laude in 2017. In her years at Colby and St. Mark’s, Meryl achieved great success in the classroom and in athletics. Meryl collected a remarkable 24 varsity letters and was the Captain of 5 teams during her high school and college years.

During law school, Meryl also stood out as competitor and leader, being named the top advocate in both her second and third years. She was awarded the law school’s prestigious Charles A. Harvey Jr. Trial Fellowship in 2016.

Within the Portland community, Meryl has been active coaching youth sports, as a member of the Edward Thaxter Gignoux Inns of Court and as a top woman golfer. Meryl is a past Club Champion at Portland Country Club and has competed several times in the Maine Women’s Amateur.

Meryl is admitted to practice in Maine and is a resident of Cape Elizabeth.
