A well known presence in Maine politics, Jared joined Preti Strategies* and works closely with the Preti Flaherty Government Affairs Team. His work ranges from federal campaign consulting to public relations for municipalities to lobbying for fortune 200 companies. He got his start in politics working for Congressman Golden in 2018, with whom he still has a professional relationship. Bornstein started collecting clients, independently of any firm or assistance, and quickly grew his practice. During his time in the Statehouse he has helped pass; Death with Dignity, National Popular Vote and transformative cannabis regulation. He has also beat back laws that would have damaged or shut down small businesses. Whether it’s knocking doors for a candidate, garnering LTE’s for a cause or advocating for his clients on the third floor, Jared succeeds at what he sets out to do.
