Attorney Thomas G. Fiore Joins Preti Flaherty’s Environmental Practice Group

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that attorney Thomas G. Fiore has joined the firm’s Environmental Practice Group, working in the Boston office.

Tom brings more than 30 years of experience as an environmental attorney, representing national and international companies with operations in New England. While experienced in many aspects of environmental law, his practice will focus primarily on advising clients on matters involving commercial properties affected by hazardous materials and other contaminants in the environment (brownfields), environmental litigation representing clients in state and federal courts, and multi-party negotiations for the resolution of potential liability at contaminated sites under Superfund or state uncontrolled sites laws.

Tom is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and Wesleyan University. Following law school, Tom served as an attorney in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Monitoring at EPA headquarters in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Tom served for more than two decades as a Partner and Of Counsel at two notable law firms in Boston.

Preti Flaherty’s Managing Partner, John M. Sullivan said, “Tom has the type of deep knowledge and extensive experience necessary to successfully steer clients through the complexities of modern environmental law. His track record has distinguished him regionally and nationally, and we are excited to welcome him to our already outstanding environmental team.”
