Attorney Daniel J. Bourque Joins Preti Flaherty’s Intellectual Property Group

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that attorney Daniel J. Bourque has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, working in the Concord, New Hampshire, office.

Dan’s practice focuses on advising clients in securing patents and trademarks and enforcing their rights both in the United States and around the world. In addition, Dan advises clients on their copyright and technology licensing matters and provides litigation services and litigation support in all manner of intellectual property disputes. He brings nearly three decades of experience as a patent attorney, specializing in electronic and electrical technologies, including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, radar, and acoustics. His clients represent a diverse roster of large and small technology companies operating locally, nationally, and internationally.

Dan is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and holds degrees in computer science and electronic engineering from Franklin Pierce College and Hesser College. Prior to law school, Dan was a computer hardware and software design engineer at several notable technology companies. He joins Preti Flaherty following more than thirty years of private practice in intellectual property law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Upon his decision to join Preti Flaherty, Dan notes that “I am very excited to integrate my practice with Preti’s very solid Intellectual Property Practice Group.  The support that my clients will receive from the Firm’s IP Group, as well as the additional skillsets available across the breadth of the Firm, will be very helpful to the clients I have been privileged to serve over the years.”
