Allaina is a member of Preti Flaherty’s Employment, Litigation, and Municipal Law and Finance practice groups in the firm’s Portland office. An integral member of our diverse, cross-disciplinary team, she counsels clients on a variety of complex issues related to commercial litigation, including case research, document drafting, trial preparation, client management, and settlement negotiation.
Allaina is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and Bates College. In law school, she was Notes & Comments Editor for the Connecticut Law Review and a teaching assistant for legal research and writing classes. Her wide-ranging experience prior to joining the firm is highlighted by internships at the Department of Energy, Office of the Assistant General Counsel for Legislation, Regulation, and Energy Efficiency in Washington, D.C.; the Office of the Maine Attorney General; the Eighth District Court of Maine; the Volunteer Lawyers Project, Court House Assistance Program; and the Angus King for U.S. Senate Campaign. For two years, she worked as a trial assistant in Auburn, Maine. In 2019, Allaina served as a Summer Associate at Preti Flaherty.
Allaina lives in Poland Spring, Maine.
