Virginia Davis Elected to Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents

Preti Flaherty attorney Virginia Davis has been elected to the Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. An immediate past president of the Maine Bar Association, Davis will serve a three-year term in her new role.
The National Conference of Bar Presidents provides information and training to state, county and municipal bar associations and their leaders. It is composed of the leaders of bar associations from 53 states and territories. Its Executive Council is composed of recent bar association presidents who lead the organization and provide guidance to members at several annual events.
As a member of Preti Flaherty's Environmental Group, Davis has been involved in most of Maine's major development projects over the past two decades. Her practice has concentrated on land use, real estate and permitting and she has extensive experience in the regulatory arena. She was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America 2010 edition.
