Sharon Newman Appointed to Environmental Technology Board of Maine Technology Institute

Environmental Partner Sharon Newman was recently appointed to serve on the Environmental Technology Board of the Maine Technology Institute. Sharon will serve a three-year term on the nine-member board, one of seven review Boards at MTI.

MTI assists entrepreneurs and startups as well as established businesses and institutions to bring their technology to market by providing financial and networking resources. MTI offers development loans of up to $500,000 and seed grants of up to $25,000. Technology Board members evaluate loan and grant applications and make funding recommendations. In addition, Technology Board members provide MTI with policy advice relevant to their area of expertise.
