Preti Flaherty Attorney Gregory Hansel Appointed Chairman of Community Financial Literacy Board
Preti Flaherty attorney Gregory P. Hansel has recently been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Community Financial Literacy (CFL), a non-profit organization that provides free financial literacy training to immigrants and refugees in the Greater Portland, Maine area.
The mission of Community Financial Literacy is "to enhance the lives of refugee and immigrant communities in Maine by teaching them financial literacy skills for a better future." CFL hosts workshops, training and one-on-one counseling to provide consumer protection, financial education and investment skills to refugees and new immigrants.
Hansel previously served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and will serve as Chairman for a two-year term. He is a Partner with Preti Flaherty and is recognized nationally as a trial lawyer in complex business litigation. He practices in Portland, Maine.
