Former Preti Flaherty Attorney Appointed Chief of Staff by Governor LePage

Governor LePage has appointed Holly Lusk as his chief of staff and legislative director, effective as of January 8th, 2017. Prior to rejoining the LePage administration in November, Lusk was a member of Preti Flaherty’s Maine Legislative Team, practicing from the firm’s Augusta office in the Government Affairs, Litigation and Health Law practice groups.

Lusk is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maine School of Law. During her time with the firm, she advocated for clients before the Maine Legislature, the Executive Branch and other state agencies on a wide range of policy issues. She also represented healthcare professionals before their respective licensing boards.

“We’re thrilled for Holly. While we miss having her on our team, we know this is an incredible opportunity for her to work directly on the important policy questions that will be addressed by this Administration over the course of the next year,” said Dan Walker, Chair of Preti Flaherty’s Government Affairs Practice Group. “I’m looking forward to working with her in her new capacity.”
