Attorney Tim Bryant Recognized for Franchise Law Expertise and Skill by National Trade Publication

Nominated by his peers, Bryant is one of 125 attorneys nationwide named ‘Legal Eagles' by Franchise Times magazine

PORTLAND, Maine(April 25, 2011) – Preti Flaherty attorney Tim Bryant has been recognized nationally for his expertise and skill in the area of franchise law by Franchise Times magazine.

Bryant, a partner at the regional firm Preti Flaherty, is one of 125 attorneys nationwide chosen for inclusion on the 2011 list of Legal Eagles by the Minneapolis-based national trade publication.

Nominated by their peers, the attorneys chosen for the honor are considered among the most knowledgeable and experienced franchise attorneys in the nation, according to the magazine.

Bryant is listed in Woodward-White's The Best Lawyers in America for his work in the area of franchise law. He has assisted numerous franchise businesses with expanding their operations on a regional, national and international level, including the creation of franchise, area development, joint venture and related agreements as well as state and federal regulatory compliance. He has also successfully defended and prosecuted dozens of claims on behalf of franchisors to enforce their contractual, intellectual property and post-termination rights against former franchisees.

Bryant also has assisted numerous entrepreneurs in all phases of starting, growing and operating small businesses and related investment opportunities.

At Preti Flaherty, Bryant focuses his practice on franchise, business and construction law and litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising and Litigation Practice Specialty Sections.
