Portland, ME – Two attorneys from the law firm Preti Flaherty have been
elected to serve on the Board of Directors at two area agencies. Naomi Sakamoto,
a member of Preti Flaherty’s business law practice group, was elected to the
Board of Directors of the Maine International Trade Center (MITC). James Hanley,
a business law and estate planning attorney, was elected an officer at the
Greater Portland Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Sakamoto’s work for MITC will help to continue their mission of enhancing
Maine’s international presence through trade and correspondence. Hanley will
assist the Greater Portland Big Brothers Big Sisters with their mission of
providing a positive influence for children age 7 to14 through one-to-one
relationships with adult volunteers.
Sakamoto and her family reside in
Falmouth. Hanley resides in Portland with his wife and daughter.
