Portland, ME – Two attorneys at Preti, Flaherty, Beliveau, Pachios &
Haley, LLC were elected members of the firm as of January 2002.
Roy T. Pierce practices with the firm's Intellectual Property &
Technology, Litigation and Business Law practice groups in Portland. His
practice concentrates primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, State and
local taxation and trademark law.
He is a 1989 graduate of the American International College, and received his
law degree from the University of Maine Law School in 1992. Following
graduation from law school, he served as a clerk to the Honorable David G.
Roberts, associate justice of the Maine Supreme Court.
Mr. Pierce resides in
Freeport, Maine, with his wife and two daughters.
Jeffrey W. Peters practices with the firm's Litigation, Labor &
Employment, and Business Law practice groups. He concentrates his practice in
commercial and criminal litigation, business law, labor and employment law,
aviation law, and military law. He practices primarily from the firm's Bath
office.
Mr. Peters is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and the
University of Maine School of Law. Following graduation from law school,
he practiced as a navy lawyer in the United States Navy JAG Corps. LCDR
Peters continues to serve in the Naval Reserve as a JAG with the Naval Justice
School.
Mr. Peters serves on the Board of Directors of the Bath-Brunswick Chamber of
Commerce, as a board member of Family Focus and as President of the Maine
Chapter of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association. He resides
in Portland with his wife and children.
