April 14, 2008 (PORTLAND, ME)– Preti Flaherty announced today that the
firm has been named the 2008 “Service Provider of the Year” by the Maine
International Trade Center. The award is one of this year’s “Excellence in
International Trade and Investment” awards to be presented by Governor John E.
Baldacci at Maine International Trade Day 2008. Recipients are businesses or
individuals who have demonstrated outstanding success in international trade,
and awards are given in four categories: Exporter of the Year, Service Provider
of the Year, Innovator of the Year, and Foreign Investor of the Year.
According to MITC, Preti Flaherty was chosen for its “dedication to helping
clients thrive in a global economy.” The firm services clients in Europe, Asia
and beyond, and has participated in MITC trade missions to France and Korea.
