February 6, 2008 PORTLAND, Me. – Preti Flaherty attorney Todd J.
Griset has been elected to the Portland Trails Board of Trustees. Portland
Trails is a non-profit urban land trust dedicated to building a network of
multi-use trails in the Greater Portland, Maine area. They also work to
preserve and protect access to natural places within the region.
As a Trustee, Todd will support the Board by participating in the oversight
of the organization’s programs and initiatives, helping to keep its efforts true
to its mission statement. The Board is also updating its strategic plan in
2008. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees, Todd will continue
to be an active member of the Trails Committee and Programs Committee.
Todd joined the Portland office of Preti Flaherty in September 2002. His
practice concentrates on energy, utilities and environmental law. A Reading,
Massachusetts native, Todd graduated from Phillips Academy, Dartmouth College,
and earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in
2002. He also earned a Master of Environmental Studies from the
University of Pennsylvania in 2006.
