CONCORD — A former New Hampshire deputy sheriff has been awarded a half-million dollars by a jury in a wrongful discharge case against Rockingham County Sheriff Daniel Linehan.

On Monday, after nearly 3 1⁄2 years of waiting for his case to come to fruition, Jay Mackenzie was awarded $500,000 in damages by a Hillsborough County jury. Click here for the complete article.
