June 29, 2007 – CONCORD, New Hampshire —Today Preti Flaherty announced
that Simon R. Brown has joined the firm, practicing with the Litigation Group as
an associate. He will practice from the firm’s Concord, New Hampshire
office. Simon brings a strong background as a trial attorney to the firm
and will focus his practice on civil and criminal litigation.
Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Simon previously served as a Senior
Assistant Attorney General for the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. In
his career, he has handled more than 65 jury trials and has briefed and argued
dozens of cases before the N.H. Supreme Court. Simon also served as Chief of the
Attorney General’s Criminal Justice Bureau.
Simon is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and is a member of the New
Hampshire Bar Association and the Daniel Webster-Batchelder Inns of Court. He is
a 1992 graduate of Suffolk University Law School and a 1987 graduate of the
University of New Hampshire. He resides with his family in Hollis, New
Hampshire.
