Three years after watching his fortune disappear, Darrell Mayeux was awarded
a $7.4 million nest egg Monday by a jury in Cumberland County Superior
Court.
The unanimous jury found that Fleet Bank's Private Client Group mismanaged
Mayeux's money - made during a long career in the high-tech industry - and
caused $10.5 million to evaporate when the price of his Fairchild Semiconductor
stock faded.
