Preti Flaherty attorney Thomas P. Pinansky was recently appointed to the
Panel of Arbitrators of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
The HKIAC is Asia’s primary arbitration tribunal, and has assisted parties in
solving their disputes by arbitration and other means of dispute resolution
since 1985.
Pinansky met the HKIAC criteria for appointed panelists, which requires
substantial arbitration experience and a significant connection with East Asia.
Tom joined Preti Flaherty in 2004 as counsel to the firm, and he is also
the senior foreign attorney with Kim Shin & Yu in Seoul, Korea. He is
engaged in the practice of international corporate law and international
advocacy matters.
Tom served as the Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers
of Commerce between 2001 and 2003. He currently serves as a Governor of
the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea and is also active in the EU, Canadian
and Australia-New Zealand Chambers of Commerce.
