The 2nd Annual Entrepreneur's Summit is set for September 22, 2005 at the
Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine.
Preti Flaherty and Mainebiz are pleased to bring the Entrepreneur's
Summit back again this year, offering expert advice on rolling out your business
idea! We are very excited to host Governor John Baldacci who will kick-off the
morning with a Keynote Address on the outlook of Maine's business climate, and
tips on tapping into federal and state resources for small entrepreneurs.
To offer you more resources and networking opportunities, we have modified
the format by making the Summit a half-day, morning event featuring:
Breakfast and Keynote Address by Governor John Baldacci -- get the Governor's
advice on tapping into state and federal resources.
Business Resource Panel to give you advice on law, accounting, marketing,
business resources AND feedback from a successful entrepreneur.
Networking Expo -- time to meet and network with attorneys, bankers, the
SBDC, marketing resources, accountants and many other resources to build your
business.
Break-out Sessions -- you can choose two sessions on topics ranging from
copyrights and patents, writing your business plan, marketing your product,
financing your venture or managing human resources. The sessions will be
presented by industry experts and entrepreneurs eager to share their real-world
experiences.
