Alerts : Education Law
June 27, 2005

The U.S. Department of Education issued new guidance on supplemental educational services (SES) under No Child Left Behind.  States, districts and providers can find information on their responsibilities for implementing SES, for example, in areas where there are no providers, on eligibility determinations, on oversight, and the like. Click here for more information.

The Department has also offered a sample letter for schools to communicate with parents about tutors and the opportunity to enroll their child in free tutoring services. The sample letter is available here.
