Maine FOAA Policy Resource

Freedom of Access Act (FOAA) policies, procedures and guidelines are used by Maine agencies when responding to public records requests. Below is a partial compilation of Maine FOAA policies provided as a general information resource. In January 2017, a comprehensive request was issued to all agencies on the State's website.  Some agencies not listed do not have policies; others did not respond to our request. Please bear in mind agencies are free to withdraw or change their policies at any time.
