Biography
Holly E. Russell practices with Preti
Flaherty’s Litigation Group from the firm’s Portland office. She concentrates
her practice on medical liability and insurance defense. Prior to
launching her legal career, Holly held positions with the Tribeca Film Festival
in New York and the Maine International Trade Center. Holly is originally
from Ohio, and grew up in Topsham, Maine.
While at law school, Holly was selected as Prize Arguer and named Best
Oralist of the 2005 Moot Court Team. She was also selected as one of four
students to compete in the Regional Trial Advocacy Competition. Upon graduation,
Holly received the Gignoux Award for Appellate Advocacy.
At Penn, Holly majored in both International Relations and French
Studies. She spent much of her time as a coxswain for the men’s
lightweight crew.
