Daniel Rapaport is an experienced litigator with substantial trial
experience. He practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, medical
malpractice defense, insurance defense and workers' compensation.
Dan is
from Sharon, Massachusetts, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colby College. At
Colby, he was captain of the baseball team and sports editor of the Colby Echo.
He earned his law degree at Cornell University in 1978 and joined Preti Flaherty
the same year.
He is a member of the Maine State, Massachusetts and American bar
associations and the Maine State Bar Association's Insurance Section. He is a
member of the Defense Research and Trial Lawyers Association. Dan is listed in
Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America.
He is a former
director of the Jewish Federation and a former Hebrew instructor on the faculty
of Temple Beth Ha'am.
