Timothy J. Bryant is a
Partner of the firm's Franchise, Litigation and Business Law practice groups,
where he specializes in franchise, business and construction law. He also serves
on the firm's Management Committee, as the Chair of the firm's Recruitment
Committee, and Chair of the firm’s Entrepreneur’s Practice Group.
Tim is
a member of the Maine and American Bar Associations and the American Bar
Associations' Forum on Franchising and Litigation Practice Specialty Sections.
He is listed in Woodward-White's The Best Lawyers in America for his work
in the area of franchise law.
Since moving to Maine in the early 1990s,
he has become active in community affairs. Currently, he serves as: Co-Chair of
the Maine Children’s Cancer Society’s Annual Walkathon; Immediate Past President
and Co-Founder of the Friends of UMass Football; A Member of the Town of
Falmouth’s Ad Hoc Workforce Housing Committee; As a volunteer youth basketball
and baseball coach in the Town of Falmouth; and on the Advisory Committee for
the Leadership Maine program, and a graduate of the Lamda Class. His past
activities include service as Director and former Chair of the Board for
Junior Achievement of Maine and as a member of the Board of Directors for the
UMass Alumni Association, Little Ladd Football of Greater Portland.
Tim earned his law degree at
Villanova Law School, where he served as a staff member for the Villanova
Environmental Journal and co-founded The Villanova Sports and Entertainment
Law Society. He won Villanova's Interview Client Counseling Competition and
received the Philadelphia Trial Association's Trial Advocacy Award.
Tim
earned his undergraduate degree in business finance from the University of
Massachusetts in Amherst in 1989. While there, he quarterbacked the football
team to a Yankee Conference championship and was named the 1986 Yankee
Conference Rookie of the year.
He lives in Falmouth, with his wife,
Lisa, sons, Sean and Jack and daughter, Lauren.
