Career Center : New Associates

Associates at Preti Flaherty continue to be pleasantly surprised by the consistent amount of challenging, quality work available to new attorneys. Although our offices are located in New England, you will handle matters that cross state, regional and sometimes even national borders. Our clients are located all over the country and world, and you will routinely work with attorneys in all of our four offices on a broad range of matters in your first year as an associate.

Our entrepreneurial culture encourages associates to hit the ground running and build their own practice. Self-starters thrive here and are rewarded for bringing in their own business and fostering strong client relationships. At the same time, our partners’ “open door” approach to training creates a learning environment where associates are always welcome to ask questions and receive support from senior associates and partners.

“I know I could walk into the Managing Partner’s office with an idea and it would be appreciated. Associates are well respected and encouraged to hit the ground running.” – Carlisle Tuggey, Environmental Law

“Preti Flaherty truly recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit. As an outgoing person, I have the opportunity to network with clients and prospects, bring in my own business and be rewarded for it, and receive support and training from senior attorneys.  It’s nice knowing that I can be true to my personality and be rewarded for my work.” – Monica Singh, Business Law
