Our Augusta office is just steps away from the capitol building and the
offices of many administrative agencies. Our attorneys and lobbyists are highly
respected within the legislative community, and provide new attorneys with
opportunities to interact with legislators, agency leaders and administrators in
both professional and social settings.
Augusta is a thriving micropolis surrounded by traditional villages and
up-and-coming bedroom communities. Although the area has a quieter pace, it does
not lack recreational and cultural opportunities. Take a half-hour drive to the
Colby College campus and visit its art museum, recently gifted the $100 million
Lunder Collection, putting the campus in the center of Maine’s art scene. Kayak,
canoe or raft the Kennebec River or make a day trip to Baxter State Park.
Augusta is also only an hour drive to Portland and less than three hours to our
Boston and Concord offices. The Augusta area also offers affordable housing and
excellent schools.
