PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Those both in favor and against the development of new nuclear power plants in the US are watching the Japanese nuclear crisis closely.
At least two explosions have been recorded at two separate nuclear reactors in quake ravaged northeastern Japan. In all, Japanese officials are working to regain control of four nuclear power plants that were damaged by Friday's massive earthquake and the tsunami it triggered.
